The representative select of the Czech University League of Ice Hockey (ULLH) is heading across the ocean, and for their travels, they are getting brand new gear from the Czech startup MIRNIX—the creators of innovative hockey backpacks. The company will equip the players with their multifunctional The Big One backpacks, engineered specifically to handle the brutal logistics of travel and hauling heavy hockey gear.
In the second half of October, the university select will embark on its first-ever tour across US colleges. They are facing a relentless schedule: five games in just six days against top-tier teams from the prestigious NCAA, the highest level of university sports in the United States.
We are absolutely stoked to be part of this international mission for Czech university hockey. We engineered The Big One backpacks exactly for challenges like this—they are bulletproof, practical, and clear out the friction from every single trip. We believe they’ll have the players' backs not just during this US tour, but on all their future hockey adventures," says Tomáš Mulač, co-founder of MIRNIX.
Where is the squad landing?
The first tour kicks off in mid-October, pitting the university select against some of the fiercest college teams in America. The boys will skate against Yale, Brown, and Cornell—the most prestigious schools in the US, belonging to the elite Ivy League. The representative team is taking the league's name to the global stage with a clear goal: showcase the raw quality of Czech university hockey, crush new experiences, and inspire the next generation of players.
“Our players are facing a massive amount of travel, bus rides, and flights across the ocean. Having MIRNIX provide gear that lets us travel comfortably between airports and arenas is a total game-changer. We’re also proud to partner with a homegrown Czech brand that actually stands behind hockey players at the start of their journeys,” says Tomáš Hlaváč, Chairman of the ČAUH.
Who is MIRNIX?
