PRIVACY POLICY

Hi! Here you will learn how we at MXTX s.r.o. handle your personal data. Your privacy is a priority for us, so we play fair and by the rules (especially the GDPR regulation). These principles supplement our terms and conditions and explain what happens to your data when you shop with us or communicate with us.

1. WHO IS THE CONTROLLER?

2. WHAT DATA DO WE COLLECT AND WHY?

In order to send you hockey equipment or answer your inquiry, we need to work with the following data:

  • Order and Delivery: Name, surname, address, e-mail, phone number. (Reason: Performance of the contract – without this, we simply cannot deliver the package to you).
  • Payments and Accounting: Billing information and your purchase history. (Reason: Legal obligation – we must keep accounts according to regulations).
  • Marketing (Newsletter): E-mail address. (Reason: Our legitimate interest if you have shopped with us, or your explicit consent).
  • Cookies and Website: Data about what you view on the website. (Reason: So that the website works correctly and we know what interests you and what we should improve. You can manage your cookie settings directly in your browser or via the bar on our website).

3. WHO DO WE PASS THE DATA TO?

We do not release your data to anyone who does not strictly need it. Our verified partners are:

  • Carriers: So they know where to deliver the package (e.g., Zásilkovna, PPL, GLS, DHL).
  • Payment Gateways: So that your card payment can take place securely.
  • IT and Marketing Tools: Which help us run the e-shop (e.g., Shoptet, Google Workspace, Ecomail).

4. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP THE DATA?

  • We keep data for processing orders and complaints for the necessary period, usually 10 years due to tax and accounting laws.
  • We keep e-mails for newsletters until you unsubscribe. You will find a one-click unsubscribe link in every e-mail.

5. YOUR RIGHTS (PAY ATTENTION HERE!)

GDPR gives you strong rights. You can write to us at any time and request:

  • Access: We will tell you exactly what we know about you.
  • Rectification: If you have an error in your data, we will fix it immediately.
  • Erasure (Right to be forgotten): Unless another law binds us to keep it (like accounting), we will delete your data upon request.
  • Objection to marketing: If you no longer want to receive any news from us, just tell us and we will stop it.

6. FEEL LIKE SOMETHING IS WRONG?

If you think we are not handling your data correctly, you have the right to file a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection (www.uoou.cz).
